The Department of Leadership in Education in the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) at the University of Massachusetts Boston seeks applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor, to begin September 1, 2020. Of particular interest are candidates with scholarly expertise in equity in higher education and an established program of quantitative research. Candidates’ research agendas should focus on one of the following three areas: 1) educational experiences, identity development, and outcomes for students from underrepresented populations, especially Black or underrepresented students of color, 2) sociology of higher education with an emphasis on racial inequality and social/educational stratification, or 3) finance and financial aid in relationship to inequality in higher education.
